The VEIN Ultralight Hiking Backpack — crafted with ultralight, high-strength UHMWPE fabric and featuring the newly developed Two-Track Exo Suspension System. Unlike conventional ultralight backpacks that pursue minimal weight at the expense of support, VEIN delivers excellent carrying performance while maintaining an exceptionally low weight of just 650g.

Following our classic MARL and TUFA backpacks in the Outdoor Series, the new-generation VEIN brings a distinctive character to ultralight hiking packs. With an adjustable capacity of 21L–53L, VEIN is designed to handle everything from single-day hikes to multi-day adventures.

Ultralight Design

The pack body weighs only 458g, while the complete pack with accessories weighs just 650g. Compared with hiking backpacks of similar capacity, VEIN keeps pack weight remarkably low.

The weight saved can be put to practical use on the trail — whether it means carrying extra snacks, a summit drink, a spare headlamp, or a power bank.

Unique U-Shaped Aluminum Stay Frame

The newly developed Two-Track Exo Suspension System uses a specially designed U-shaped aluminum stay mounted on the outside of the pack to provide stable support.

The aluminum stay features a curved profile that follows the contours of the body, bringing the pack closer to the back and keeping the load closer to the body for a more stable and comfortable carry.

The U-shaped aluminum stay frame is removable, allowing you to choose whether to use it as needed. (To remove the aluminum stay, simply open the Velcro flap at the top of the pack and take the stay out.)

New UHMWPE Fabric

The main pack body is made from 70D UHMWPE (Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylene) fabric, offering an exceptional balance of low weight and high strength. The fabric features excellent tear and abrasion resistance.

With its clean and simple grid pattern, VEIN presents a fresh and distinctive look.

For areas at the bottom of the pack that often contact and rub against the ground, X-Pac fabric is utilized to enhance abrasion resistance.

Expandable Capacity

The roll-top closure not only provides additional weather protection but also allows flexible packing and volume adjustment.

The maximum capacity can reach 53L, excluding the open front and side pockets, making VEIN suitable for a wider range of hiking trips.

Large Front Pocket

The large front pocket provides easy access to gear such as helmets, rain jackets, and other items you may need to reach quickly. An adjustable elastic drawcord at the pocket opening helps secure your gear and prevent items from falling out.

Two front compression straps secure items in the front pocket when tightened. They can also be used as straps for securing externally carried gear.

Large Side Pockets

The large side pockets can hold multiple water bottles at the same time. Each pocket features an adjustable elastic drawcord at the opening to keep your gear securely in place.

The curved pocket openings are designed at different heights for easy access while hiking, allowing you to reach your gear without removing the pack.

Side Compression Cords: 

Tightening the side compression cords after packing brings the load closer to your back and helps stabilize the pack. They can also be used to secure long items such as trekking poles and tripods.

Two-Track Ventilated Suspension System

VEIN features a Two-Track ventilated suspension system that utilizes the height difference of the shoulder straps on the back to enhance ventilation, while incorporating 3D breathable mesh for maximum air circulation and comfort.

The ultralight sternum string weighs only 4g and has an adjustable length for a secure and stable fit.

The shoulder load lifters can be tightened to keep the pack aligned with your back and bring the load closer to your body, enhancing carrying comfort and stability.

VEIN comes with a padded hip belt. Tightening the hip belt transfers part of the pack load to the hips, helping reduce pressure on the shoulders and back.

The removable Padded hipbelt-P1 can be equipped with various accessories：Shoulder Pouch with Zipper、CELL phone bag 、TALC.
It can also be upgraded to the Padded Hipbelt- M2.

Two daisy chains on the front of the pack, together with the U-shaped aluminum stay on the back, provide multiple attachment points for securing and carrying external gear.

Two ice axe loops allow you to carry ice axes and trekking poles.

For additional external carrying options, you can use accessories such as Hook and Strap、Cord Kit
 

The pack body can be compressed under light load, allowing the VEIN to be flattened for easier storage and transport when not in use.
